A Seat At The Superbowl
Nov 25th 2007
A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As he sits down, a man comes down and asked the man if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him.
“No”, he said, “the seat is empty”.
“This is incredible”, said the man.
“Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sport event in the world, and not use it?”
Somberly, the man says,
“Well… the seat actually belongs to me. I was supposed to come here with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we have not been together since we got married in 1967.”
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. But couldn’t you find someone else - a friend or relative or even a neighbor to take the seat?”
The man shakes his head,
“No. They’re all at her funeral.”

Buffalo Theory
Nov 16th 2007
One night at Cheers, Cliff explained the “Buffalo Theory” to his buddy Norm:
“Well ya see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine! That’s why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”
